- VERY POOR CHOICE
I wish I had returned this as soon as I noticed it was not working to hold my Kindle in place. I don't know if this is just a bad example of the Cole Haan Kindle cover or if all of the black ones function this badly. It doesn't hold the Kindle in place for any sustained length of time or if my arm or the Kindle sustains any impact. - Just what I expected
I got a Kindle and realized right away I needed a cover to keep it protected. I also wanted something a bit thick, and leather, to make the Knidle feel more substantial in my hands. Saw this one at a good price, with a good brand, and seemed like a good buy. The reviews about the clips not fitting did concern me a bit, but it was worth a shot. - horrendous durability
This cover got beat up almost instantly. I'm not rough on my electronics, but use this cover and put the kindle in a bag for a day, and the cover gets incredibly scuffed. It looked terrible after one day's use. Stick with a more durable cover - this isn't it.

The case is very nice looking. However it is very soft. I fear it may not be very durable?

Pebbled leather would have been better so that all the scratches wouldnt show but more importantly there are no elastic bands to hold the kindle, so the only connection is through the two little metal connectors on the left side. That means the kindle moves too much and the connectors are under stress. I would have preferred the kind with the extra bands on the side.
