Let me preface by saying I don't usually write reviews until I've had a product long enough to test it's longevity. That being said, I owned a Canon printer/copier prior to this one that lasted about 10 years. (Copier function still works, but printer drivers do not exist for it with newer operating systems. I've had this printer a few weeks now and I am very happy. The picture quality is excellent - MUCH better than my HP Photosmart 2710 All-In-One. I had read in another review that the document quality was poor but that has not been my experience - my documents look good. I REALLY like the duplex feature. I bought this to replace an Officejet 8500 Pro that wouldn't fit on my new desk shelving. Since I was used to the way things worked with the HP, I was worried that I'd have a bit of trouble adjusting to the new. Nonsense. Everything worked straight out of the box. Even setup was flawless. The only major difference was I have to use the Canon application to scan, where the HP had TWAIN/WIA drivers and I could scan directly into Photoshop. This is no biggie, however. Just thought I'd mention it.

i bought this printer 2 months ago, and i can say it is a really nice machine. it easy to set up and you can make copies, scan, print and much more. it serve it purpose right. it is good for home not for office, also the quality of printing is really nice. You have color and black-white printer but overall it's product worth it money.
