I got the cover before my Kindle. The burgundy color turned to be darker than I expected, but maybe it is a monitor settings issue. The stitches seemed to be nicely done, all edges were fine, no visible imperfections. The hooks have a funny form, but seem to be very solid.

just put my new kindle into my new apple green kindle cover. i love it. the kindle fits snugly and securely inside the cover. the built in light source is really easy to use and sturdily built. just pull it out and it lights automatically. it is connected directly to the battery. there is a self colored elastic band that secures the cover shut when the kindle is not in use.

Three of my senses are pleased. This product looks, feels, and smells great! Everything from the packaging to the ease of installation is impressive. I read some very negative things about this product before I made the purchase. The price is right in there for a quality leather product. this item looks pretty cool, and it is NOT that heavy as some folks described. Although I have not received my kindle yet, I can't wait to express my pleasure from just seeing this cool item. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is the price - I'm sure in couple of months when there is more competition, $20-25 would sound like a more reasonable range.

The color (hot pink) and quality of the cover was as expected. To me, there's nothing worse than getting something that looks nothing like what you thought you ordered. I'm happy with the leather cover. Highly recommended!
